Hotel Ilbertz Garni - Cologne

The rooms were clean and had comfortable single beds.

Came here for 3 days, the hotel was great and comfortable, it had fantastic location really close to Gaststaette tavern, maybe the best restaurant in town, tramway and the stadium. Liked clean twin room with single bed, wouldn't mind staying there all day. I had central heating, a work desk, and TV in the room.

Wonderful & neat room, a mini-fridge-bar, an air conditioning, and a work desk in there...

Stayed in a standard double room with a single bed which was perfect for me, loved the included amenities such as a mini bar fridge, air conditioning, and a TV.

Nice basic business hotel with good breakfast.

Would like a hot beverage facility for the evening. Even if this is not provided in the room a simple set up in the dining room would be appreciated. In addition free wireless network is starting to become available at other establishments and this would be a big advantage.

The breakfast was good, there was onsite parking, and our twin room had central heating, a work desk, and a TV.

The hotel is close to the central station and Dom, excellent breakfast, big rooms.

The standard double room had a cozy bed, mini bar fridge, air conditioning, and a TV, and the staff provided excellent recommendations and were very accommodating.

The breakfast was enjoyable, and the double room was well-equipped and tidy with a single bed.

Three things struck me the most; 1. Staff- Friendliness, effeciency, and willingness to help. 2. Cleanliness was of a very high standard. 3. Good variety offered at buffet breakfast.

1.Room I was in was particularly small, but saying that it met all my needs for a one night stay. 2. €125.00 I personally feel is rather overpriced, whereas €80-85 would be more appropriate.

We liked everything about this hotel and our stay there. Of all the hotels booked on this ho;iday trip it was by far the best in every respect, from the proximity to the Cologne/Deutz aiway station to the access to the center of the city with its wonderful cathedral.
